By Steve Carver, "Mr. Bouncer"
When we talk about women's wellness, exercise is often framed around changing how your body looks. After decades in fitness, I'd rather talk about how movement can help you feel.
Life can get busy. Careers, families, changing hormones, responsibilities, and everyday stress can make taking care of yourself feel like one more thing on the list. That's why I believe exercise needs to be something you can realistically fit into your life.
Give Yourself 10 Minutes
You don't always need an hour-long workout to make movement worthwhile. If you have ten minutes, use them.
Step onto your JumpSport Fitness Trampoline, begin with a gentle Health Bounce, and give yourself a few minutes to settle into the movement. As you warm up, add marching, side-to-side movements, or a slightly quicker bounce.
You can increase the intensity when you have the energy or keep things gentle when you don't.
Movement Can Be Your Reset
Physical activity can support mood, sleep, cardiovascular health, strength, and overall wellbeing—all things that matter throughout every stage of a woman's life.
But there's another benefit I've seen countless times in my classes: movement gives you time to focus on yourself.
Put on your favorite music, step onto the trampoline, and move. You may arrive feeling distracted or stressed, but sometimes a few minutes of bouncing is enough to help you finish feeling refreshed and accomplished.
hat enjoyment matters because the exercise you'll benefit from most is the exercise you'll continue doing.
Taking care of yourself doesn't always require making a dramatic change. Sometimes it starts with ten minutes, a little music, and a decision to move—and I'll see you on the mat.
