By Steve Carver
Someone at the Summit tossed me a simple question: “What’s your best biohack, Steve?”
I smiled. No hesitation.
“Consistency.”
Not flashy. Not futuristic. But it’s the backbone of everything I teach. Because whether we’re talking fitness, hydration, breathwork, or any buzzy new tool—the most effective practice is the one you return to again and again.
Why Consistency Matters
I like to say, “The greatest exercise you’ll do is the one you’ll actually do.”
If you don’t enjoy the process, motivation fades. When motivation fades, consistency crumbles. And without consistency, even the most advanced “biohack” becomes clutter.
At both the Eudemonia Summit and the Biohacking Conference earlier this year, I noticed a shared theme: everyone—from tech innovators to movement educators—was laser-focused on helping people get closer to calm, coherence, and a sense of grounded presence.
Stress sits quietly underneath so many daily challenges. Anything that helps release tension, reconnect body and mind, or spark joy becomes meaningful.
My Biohacking Framework
Before adding a new practice or piece of gear, I encourage folks to check in:
1. What’s my ultimate goal? More energy? More mobility? A little more peace?
2. Do my habits support that goal?
3. What is my actual process?
-
Mental reps: your mindset
-
Physical reps: how you move
-
Actionable reps: the small daily steps you can repeat
Good tools make your process easier—not heavier.
The Summit Experience
The energy this year was electric—and beautifully human. People were eager to explore, reset, and experiment.
And then the magic happened:
Participants stepped onto a JumpSport Fitness Trampoline, took just a few bounces, and grinned instantly. That subtle rhythmic loading—light, playful, joint-friendly—helps people feel present and alive fast. It’s one of the reasons I’ve spent decades teaching creative rebounding: it turns movement into something people want to repeat.
We also had a huge highlight this year: our studio partner, the ness (NYC), brought serious heat to the floor. Co-founder and instructor Colette Dong led five high-energy classes on our trampolines that left participants sweaty, smiling, and hungry for more. Watching people experience her signature sequencing—equal parts athletic and expressive—was a reminder of the pure joy movement can create.
We also introduced many attendees to Liquid Hydrogen, our electrolyte + hydrogen-infused drink mix. Some folks had tried hydrogen tablets before, while others were brand new to the idea. A handful told us they added it to their sauna recovery the night before or used it to hydrate for their morning workout and liked how clean and easy it was to drink. One attendee summed it up perfectly: “I’m surprised—this actually tastes really good.”
What Attendees Loved
-
The bounce effect. Quick mood lift. Gentle challenge. Low-impact freedom.
-
The movement culture. Colette’s classes showed what happens when artistry meets athleticism on a trampoline.
-
The hydration experience. A clean, simple addition to long conference days.
-
The sense of ease. People kept telling me, “I needed something fun today.” I hear that a lot—and I never get tired of it.
For JumpSport, attending these events isn’t about hype. It’s about showing people a way to move that feels approachable, joyful, and doable long-term.
Stay Curious
If you left the Summit inspired—or even just curious—start small this week.
Choose one movement you enjoy. One hydration habit you can maintain. One moment of calm you can repeat tomorrow.
Consistency really is the quietest and strongest “biohack” we have.
